Lynx Hack 2026 is an annual hackathon hosted by CU Denver's STEM student organizations include AI Student Association (AISA), NSBE, SHPE, Lynx Robotics, and SPS. This is your opportunity to build something meaningful using AI and emerging technologies, collaborate with fellow innovators, and present your work to industry professionals.

Whether you're a first-time hacker or a seasoned builder, Lynx Hack is designed to challenge you, grow your skills, and connect you with a community of passionate students and professionals.

Get Started

  1. Register on this Devpost page and create or join a team
  2. Attend the Kickoff Event on March 30th
  3. Build your project between March 30th and April 3rd
  4. Submit your project on Devpost before the deadline which is April 3rd at 10 AM
  5. Present your work to judges on April 3rd

Requirements

What to Build

Build an AI-powered project that addresses a real-world problem or opportunity. Your project can fall under any of our categories including Robotics, Engineering & Infrastructure, Finance, Healthcare & Medical, Educational & Learning, Social Impact & Sustainability, Gaming & Media, or you can define your own category entirely. The most important thing is that your project is functional, impactful, and uses AI in a meaningful way.

What to Submit

Your Devpost submission must include:

  • Project Name & Category: what you built and which category it falls under
  • Project Description: what problem you're solving, how your solution works, and what impact it could have
  • Demo Video: a short video (5 minutes) walking through your project and demonstrating it working
  • Presentation Slides: a slide deck summarizing your project, including problem, solution, tech stack, and impact
  • GitHub Repository: link to your source code (must be public or shared with organizers)
  • Tech Stack: list the tools, frameworks, APIs, and models you used
  • Team Members: all team members must be listed on the Devpost submission
